On April 22, Ai Boying, Vice Chairman of China Welfare Institute and Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation, led a team to Wison Group for visit and survey.
Upon the occurrence of Yushu earthquake in Qinghai Province, Wison Group immediately determined to donate RMB 1 million through Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation to the earthquake-stricken area. After several communications between the Foundation and Qinghai Provincial Department of Education, this sum of donation would be spent in reconstruction of the Wenle Central Boarding School (Orphan School) in Chengduo County of Yushu Prefecture. During his visit, Mr. Ai put forward proposed plans and progress schemes.
Mr. Ai also learned the information about Wison's assumption of enterprise citizen responsibility in past years, and gave praises to and put forward professional suggestions on Wison's public welfare undertaking in building Hope Primary Schools in Xinjiang, Ganxu, Shandong, and Liaoning, etc. where Wison operates large projects.
