Release time:2010-09-21

(July 12, 2010, Shanghai) The “Hope Star” 1+1 student-aiding program sponsored by Wison in Fei county, Shandong Province has entered its seventh year in this July. On the map of Shandong Province, Fei county is a remote area; however, since the construction of school buildings sponsored by Wison Group started in 2004, this area has drawn great care from all Wison people. In the past six years, many executives of Wison Group repeatedly visited the school to investigate teaching and learning conditions in the primary school, complement and optimize equipments and resources to improve teaching quality, provide scholarships to outstanding students and arrange summer camp in Shanghai. Meanwhile, based on the mindset of "Leaving a hope primary school where we complete a project", Wison sponsored another two Hope primary schools in Gansu and Xinjiang provinces respectively with sustained donations.
In the words of local government, there are other enterprises in addition to Wison that sponsors to schools, but many of them are one-time contributions; Wison is the only enterprise who keeps its continuous support. "The School looks as if it were a baby of Wison’s who keep watching on its growing over the years." With Wison’s sustained investments, the school has been improving all the way.

Bridged by the company, All Wison staffs are actively involved and constantly offering their affections to the Hope project. Wison “Hope Star” 1 +1 student-aiding program is running on a voluntary basis among all Wison people and provides support to students of grade 1-6 in primary school who are from poor families. Wison staff can choose one or more students as the beneficiary of his/her donation. The donation standard is 200 Yuan RMB / year / person. The list of beneficiaries is jointly identified by local Hope Project office and the school that Wison contributes to. To ensure the list to be prepared in an objective and fair manner, other information, including the transcripts and family status description, should be also provided and make public in the school for one week. Each year, the donations by Wison staff will be counted as a specific fund by the Finance Department and sent to the Hope Project office where the beneficiary primary schools are located. The donation will be paid as tuition fee via Hope Project office. After tuition fees are exempted for compulsory educations, the donations are distributed to students to support their learning requirements. As of July 2010, more than 1,500 people have been benefited from Wison’s contributions.
