On July 21, Zhu Changchen, Vice President of Wison Group Holding Limited, together with Lu Yi, Vice Director of Nanjing Chemical Industrial Park Administration Committee, met with Celanese's Board of Directors in Nanjing to exchange views on business issues and inspect the Yudai District and Xiba Dock within the industry park.
As a long-term supplier of key raw materials for the acetic acid production at Celanese's Nanjing Integrated Base, Wison (Nanjing) has been providing carbon monoxide to Celanese for many years. Recently, Celanese chose to hold its board meeting in Nanjing. During the meeting, Mr. Weidman, Chairman of the Board said it has been nine years since he first came to Nanjing and it has become his second home. He as well as other board members are greatly inspired by the development blueprint of the city. When working out the investment plan in China, the board unanimously agreed to consider Nanjing a priority. Celanese expects to maintain good collaborative relations with the city of Nanjing. Wison (Nanjing) Chemical Co., Ltd is prepared to support to Celanese's investment plan and ensure continuous supply of products.
