August 8, 2011, the commissioning ceremony of Xinjiang-Land’s 50 kt/a butadiene-rubber plant project was held at the foot of MountainTianshan.
The owners from Tianli High-tech, Song Qingshan, ChenKe from Xinjiang-Land, as well as Wison’s CEO, Liu Haijun and manager of Project Management Department, Man Tangquan, attended the ceremony. Liu Yuyuan, project manager from the owner’s side, Yu Wusheng, general supervising engineer and Wei Huaqing, manager of Wison’s butadiene-rubber plant project officially signed the handover certificate which indicated the successful execution of the butadiene-rubber project.
With a scale of 50kt/a,the plantis mainly used for manufacturing BR9000 butadiene-rubber products.
The 50kt/a butadiene-rubber plant of Xinjiang Land Fine Petrochemical Co.,Ltd makes use of the Dushanzi Petrochemical 10,000 kt/a oil refining and 1,000 kt/a ethylene extension project to extract remaining raw materials by usingdomestic nickel butadiene-rubber technology. With Wison Engineering, the EPC general contractor, the basic and detailed project designs were entrusted to Qilu Engineering.
Sixteen months and six days afterits kickoff on April 2, 2010 and with great support of leaders and all functional departments, along with the cooperation and positive coordination of owners, supervisors and involved parties, we have fullycompleted the contract, strengthening quality and HSE management, meticulously organized design, purchase and site operation.
Wison abidedits values of “Integrity Focusing, Customer Respect, Innovation Oriented, Harmony and Win-Win Efforts”. Also, we have overcome difficulties in poor supply situation and the shortage of workers, while ensuring short and effective construction periods, and deeply integrating design and construction. Thus, wesuccessfully reducedthe construction period to one year and delivered high quality work. The leaders of Tianli High-tech and Xinjiang Land, the owners,praised the high standard delivery of the butadiene-rubber project.
The butadiene project will enter a testing phase under the quality and HSE supervision of the project department. It will also ensure the completion of all remaining items prior to the test run in order to guarantee successfully start of the plant at the first time.
